Job summary

K&L Gates seeks a Market Development Senior Manager to join our Texas offices. You will develop and execute marketing and business development programs, partnering with Office Managing Partners to drive brand, client engagement and office growth.

You will lead initiatives, coach team members, and collaborate with Pitches, Proposals, Events and Brand Marketing to deliver impactful programs for the Texas market.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years marketing, business development or sales in professional services.
• MBA or similar graduate degree preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of global professional services marketplace.
• Ability to interact with senior stakeholders confidently.
• Strong communication, judgment and follow-through.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to develop and execute market initiatives.
• Experience building client engagement and brand visibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing and business development programs for Texas market.
• Partner with Office Managing Partners and Client Growth team on strategic initiatives.
• Build brand awareness, community engagement, and client development efforts.
• Lead cross-functional teams including pitches, events, and branding.
• Measure initiatives and provide regular reporting on outcomes.
• Co-develop lead generation and tracking programs.
• Orient new lateral attorneys to the office and firm.
• Foster a culture of business development across offices.
• Collaborate with practice and industry leaders to deliver meaningful programs.
• Manage and develop direct reports, providing coaching and feedback.
• Maintain knowledge of local market trends and industries.
• Advise on PR and local external relations activities.
