Job summary

K&L Gates LLP is seeking a Market Development Specialist to join our Global Client Growth team in a hybrid role across multiple offices. You will support go-to-market campaigns, manage key accounts, and assist lawyers with BD programs, proposals, and industry qualifications.

You will collaborate with industry leadership, partners, and firmwide personnel to plan market initiatives, develop content, and translate client needs into actionable strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years marketing/BD/sales in a professional services firm.
• Knowledge of the global marketplace for professional services.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Go-To-Market: develop market-specific content campaigns, collateral, and events to increase visibility and client opportunities.
• Key Account Development: support key accounts and cross-market initiatives matching firm solutions to client needs.
• Business Development: assist lawyers with BD plans, proposals, RFPs, and documenting industry qualifications.
• Industry Team Support: help with budgeting, onboarding new lateral attorneys, and sharing institutional knowledge.
