K&L Gates is seeking a Market Development Specialist to join its Global Client Growth team. The role supports industry teams with go-to-market strategies, content campaigns and events to boost visibility and client opportunities in multiple markets.

The candidate will collaborate with industry leadership, partners and the Client Growth team to drive business development, manage key accounts and contribute to annual marketing budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of marketing, business development and/or sales experience in a professional services firm or closely related work environment.
• Knowledge of the global marketplace for professional services.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent project management and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with lawyers and Client Growth teams to execute market campaigns, collateral and events to raise visibility of industry capabilities.
• Understand industry markets, trends and competitive landscape for legal services.
• Execute, measure and report on go-to-market initiatives by industry and support submissions for rankings and awards.
• Support key accounts and cross-market initiatives matching firm solutions to client needs.
• Assist lawyers in planning business development activities and preparing proposals and presentations.
