Job summary

Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University is seeking a part-time Testing Center Student Proctor to help maintain a secure, quiet, and fair testing environment for accommodated and courtesy examinations.

Under supervision, you will check testers in, monitor exams, enforce FERPA and academic integrity policies, and manage testing room logistics with high attention to detail and confidentiality. Current Eastern University students only; hourly rate starts at $12, and FWS/ECE are accepted.

Qualifications

• Current Eastern University student or active student status is required.
• FERPA training must be completed prior to start.
• Ability to monitor and enforce academic integrity during exams.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and testing materials.

Responsibilities

• Prep/open and close the Testing Center in Warner Library 327.
• Assist Testing Coordinator with tester check-in.
• Monitor exams to uphold academic integrity.
• Conduct regular checks for academic integrity while walking the testing center.
• Log activity using Google Forms, using cubical numbers instead of names.
• Maintain testing center supplies, equipment and cleanliness.
• Provide support to Testing Coordinator and ODA staff when no testers are present.
