Job summary

Eastern University’s College of Education is seeking a Testing Center Student Proctor to maintain a secure, quiet, and fair environment for accommodated and courtesy exams. Working under the Testing and Assistive Technology Coordinator, you will check testers in, monitor exams, enforce integrity, and manage room logistics with high attention to detail and confidentiality.

Hourly rate starts at $12 an hour. Current students only; FERPA training must be completed prior to start.

Qualifications

• Maintains secure, quiet, and fair testing environment.
• Proctors tests and enforces academic integrity policies.

Responsibilities

• Prep/Open and Close the Testing Center in Warner Library 327.
• Assist Testing Coordinator in checking students in.
• Monitor academic integrity by being present in the Testing Center.
• Perform regular checks for academic integrity by walking around the testing center.
• Keep track of activity on Google form using cubical numbers, not names.
• Maintain testing center supplies, equipment & cleanliness (wipe down equipment, vacuum, dust).
• Other duties as assigned.
