Job summary

Mars Incorporated is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the San Gabriel Valley, CA area. This field-based role requires residing within the territory and involves traveling 20–30% to engage with veterinary clinics and drive sales performance.

You will execute our Vet BU strategy, develop territory business plans, and build relationships with clinic decision-makers. Strong communication, data presentation, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
Overnight travel required, 20–30% travel.

Responsibilities

Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic needs and growing clinics.
Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within territory.
Develop and deliver data-driven presentations for Veterinary staff.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs.
Manage territory budget and generate CRM and expense reports.
