Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for Seattle South / Tacoma, WA, to execute Vet BU strategy and drive clinic growth within the territory. This field-based role requires living in the territory and occasional overnight travel to conferences, with a company vehicle supported by a strong rewards package.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years B2B sales experience, and veterinary clinic exposure, plus excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow clinics within the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations addressing veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet objectives and maximize territory performance.
• Manage expenses and CRM/reporting with accuracy.
