TenCate is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow our sports construction business across U.S. markets. You will drive revenue, identify opportunities, and manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to award and execution.

The role emphasizes established sports-industry relationships, capital-project sales, and travel to territory sites. A Bachelor’s degree and strong relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in sports market and capital projects is required.
• Proven success in developing and closing new business.
• Strong relationships with key decision-makers across schools, municipalities, and facilities.
• Experience with sports lighting or related athletic-facility solutions is preferred.
• Ability to manage a geographic territory and travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business within an assigned geographic territory.
• Identify, qualify, pursue, and close new projects across sports construction and related solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, universities, municipalities, architects, and contractors.
• Conduct in-person sales calls, site visits, and value-based selling conversations.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and regular opportunity updates.
