Job summary

TenCate is seeking a Business Development Manager for sports construction to drive new revenue opportunities across a nationwide U.S. territory.

You will manage the sales and project-development lifecycle and work with estimating, operations, marketing, and leadership to move opportunities from identification through award. The ideal candidate has proven sales experience in the sports market, strong industry knowledge, and the ability to build relationships with schools, universities,

Qualifications

• Proven business development, outside sales, or territory development experience.
• Experience selling in sports market or related facilities is required.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business within an assigned geographic territory, with accountability for pipeline development and revenue growth.
• Identify, qualify, pursue, and close new projects across sports construction and related solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, universities, municipalities, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Conduct in-person sales calls, site visits, presentations, and value-based selling conversations.
• Travel extensively within the territory to support opportunities.
