Job summary

TenCate is seeking a Business Development Manager – Sports Construction to drive revenue across multiple U.S. markets. You will own the territory, qualify opportunities, and guide projects from identification to award.

You will build relationships with schools, municipalities, architects, and facility owners, travel extensively, and collaborate with estimating, operations, and leadership to deliver value-based solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in sports construction or related markets.
• Proven ability to develop and close new business.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business within an assigned geographic territory with pipeline and revenue responsibility.
• Identify, qualify, pursue, and close projects across sports construction and related solutions.
• Build relationships with schools, municipalities, architects, and facility owners.
• Conduct in-person calls, site visits, and value-based selling discussions.
• Manage customer relationships through prospecting, proposals, and project execution.
• Develop territory business plans aligned with growth strategy.
• Maintain an active pipeline and provide updates on status and timing.
• Collaborate with Estimating, Operations, Marketing, and leadership to deliver solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of products, competitiveness, and market trends.
• Represent the company at events and travel as needed.
