Job summary

TenCate is expanding its Business Development footprint across multiple U.S. markets.

The Business Development Manager will identify and grow revenue opportunities within an assigned geographic territory, managing the full sales lifecycle from initial contact through award and execution. We seek candidates with established sales experience in sports construction and related industries, who can build strong relationships with schools, municipalities, and facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in sports construction/synthetic turf markets preferred.
• Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close opportunities.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business within assigned territories.
• Identify, qualify, pursue, and close projects across sports construction and related solutions.
• Build relationships with schools, municipalities, architects, contractors, and owners.
• Conduct in-person calls, site visits, and presentations.
• Manage relationships from prospecting to transition to project execution.
• Develop territory-specific business plans and maintain a healthy pipeline.
• Collaborate with Estimating, Operations, Marketing, and leadership to deliver solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of products, market trends, and customer needs.
