Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Sales Executive to promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory. You will build relationships, close new business, and ensure customer retention as the brand steward for the Security division.

You will craft call plans, pursue leads, and manage renewals while demonstrating deep knowledge of our product line. Local travel and full-time availability are required, with a competitive salary and benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of successful commercial sales experience in the security/IT or technology sector.
• Strong ability to present to senior level executives and communicate clearly.
• Willingness to travel locally and work a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory.
• Create and grow market share by selling to new local commercial customers.
• Sell add-ons and upgrades to existing accounts to generate new opportunities.
• Renew existing customer agreements and ensure ongoing satisfaction.
• Develop call plans, prospect follow-ups, and territory management strategies.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Johnson Controls Security products and customer needs.
• Process paperwork according to standard procedures and follow up post-installation.
