Job summary

Johnson Controls Security is seeking an Account Executive to promote and sell security products and services in a local commercial territory. You will build relationships, win new business, renew agreements, and improve retention while representing the brand with integrity and deep product knowledge.

You will manage a full cycle from prospecting to close, develop call plans, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure post-installation follow-up to confirm commitments and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; ability to present to senior executives.
• 3+ years of B2B service sales experience, preferably in Commercial Security Systems.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Availability for local travel.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 5+ years in commercial sales in security/IT or technology sales with a quota.
• Nice to have a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security products, services, and technology to new local commercial customers within the assigned territory.
• Grow existing accounts by identifying additional sales opportunities and renewals.
• Develop new market share while maintaining relationships with customers and prospects.
• Identify prospects through lead-generation techniques and referrals from Centers of Influence.
• Build and execute call plans, follow-up strategies, and territory management activities.
• Maintain knowledge of the full product and service offering and customer needs.
• Process work orders and complete documentation per procedures.
• Conduct post-installation follow-up to confirm commitments and ensure customer satisfaction.
