Job summary

Johnson Controls Security is seeking a Commercial Sales Account Executive to promote and close new business within an assigned territory, leveraging customer relationships and a strong product knowledge. The role emphasizes securing profitable sales, upselling upgrades, and driving customer retention.

The candidate will manage call plans, follow-up with prospects, and coordinate with Centers of Influence while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the full product line.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Available for local travel.
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial sales (security/IT/tech) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security to new local commercial customers.
• Sell additional products and services to existing accounts with new opportunities.
• Renew existing customer agreements and upsell upgrades.
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge and customer needs through training.
• Identify prospects and maintain relationships with customers.
• Conduct post-install follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.
