Job summary

Johnson Controls Security is seeking a Commercial Sales Executive to promote and close new business within a designated U.S. territory.

The role focuses on selling security services and technology, renewing existing accounts, and expanding market share through proactive outbound activity. You will build relationships with senior executives, deliver compelling proposals, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, while ensuring customer retention and satisfaction through

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of commercial sales experience in security, IT or tech.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory.
• Develop market share by selling to new local commercial customers.
• Sell add-ons and upgrades to existing accounts; renew agreements.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products/services and perform post-install follow-ups.
• Identify referrals, manage time/territory effectively, and follow up with prospects.
• Present proposals to senior executives and close profitable sales.
