A high school diploma is required, with a college degree preferred and 2+ years of sales experience in security/IT or tech

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a commercial sales representative in security/IT or technology sales, with a track record of meeting/exceeding quotas.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills for senior-level executives.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Local travel required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory.
• Close new business and secure upgrades for existing customers.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Johnson Controls Security products and services and customer needs.
• Renew existing customer agreements and drive resale opportunities within the territory.
• Identify prospects and develop call plans; manage time and territory effectively.
• Follow up with prospects and ensure customer satisfaction post-installation.
