Job summary

Johnson Controls Security seeks a Commercial Sales Executive to promote and sell security services and technology in an assigned territory. You will build relationships, close new business and renew existing accounts while driving customer satisfaction and retention.

You will maintain deep knowledge of our product line and deliver tailored solutions, including add-ons and upgrades, to meet customer needs and exceed quota targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to present to senior level executives.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Available for local travel.
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial sales in security/ IT or other technology sales.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology in the assigned territory.
• Close new business and secure profitable sales and upgrades.
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure retention and post-install follow-ups.
• Sell add-ons and upgrade existing customer systems to meet customer needs.
• Renew existing customer agreements and identify new opportunities within accounts.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products/services and customer issues.
