Job summary

The Richmond Group USA is seeking a hungry hunter to grow our active Northeast territory in a well-established equipment manufacturing environment. You will receive warm introductions, hands-on machinery training, and guidance from the salesperson promoted from this territory.

The ideal candidate brings experience in equipment or technical sales, mechanical/electrical/automation systems, and a proven track record in high-velocity sales. Travel 60%+ is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment or technical sales.
• Mechanical, electrical, controls, or automation systems background.
• Inside sales, applications engineering, field service, or technical support helpful.
• Ability to travel 60%+ in the Northeast territory.

Responsibilities

• Grow an active Northeast sales territory with new and existing customers.
• Leverage warm introductions and guidance from the promoting salesperson.
• Present solutions, close deals, and manage post-sale support.

Job description

A well-established equipment manufacturer is looking for a hungry hunter to grow an active Northeast territory. You will receive warm customer introductions, hands-on machinery training, and guidance from the salesperson being promoted from this territory.

We are interested in candidates with experience in:

• Equipment or technical sales
• Mechanical, electrical, controls, or automation systems
• Custom components or engineered products
• Food manufacturing or production machinery
• Inside sales or applications engineering
• Field service or technical customer support
• Equipment assembly, installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting

• must be currently living in the territory and willing to travel 60% or more including overnights
• degree preferred

We will also consider sales rock stars with a strong record of success, including top-performer awards and other measurable accomplishments. Applications engineers, field service technicians, technical customer service professionals, and plant employees with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.

What is offered:

• $75,000 to $100,000 base salary and additional commissions on consumables
• A true hustler can earn approximately $175,000 in year one
• $1,000 monthly car allowance

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, a quick learner, confident with customers, and willing to travel 60% or more throughout the Northeast. A degree is preferred but not required.
