Job summary

Allegiant Business Group in Texas offers an outside, territory-based sales role focused on meeting business owners and employees in person. This is an independent contractor position with control over your schedule and the way you build your in-market book of business.

You will learn to present benefit options clearly, build long-term relationships, guide coverage choices, and work with a mentor while pursuing a Health & Life license within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Coachable, energetic and ready to learn in a field-based role.
• Ability to engage and build genuine connections with clients.
• Strong time-management and following sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Attend company-set appointments and meet decision-makers at small to mid-size businesses.
• Deliver clear, friendly benefit presentations to groups and individuals.
• Help clients choose coverage and guide them through follow-up and claims guidance.
• Track activity, leads, and client info in our CRM (Salesforce).
• Prospect for referrals, follow up on leads, and build your own book of business.
• Work with a mentor and manager to set weekly and monthly goals.
• Report activity and celebrate wins with the team.
