ScottsMiracle-Gro is seeking a Sales Manager for Plano, TX to lead the Field Sales team and drive in-store presence with major retailers like The Home Depot and Lowe’s. You will manage Merchandisers, plan and execute sales/marketing programs, and mentor staff to meet targets.

You’ll develop budgets, analyze key metrics, and recruit talent while representing the Scotts brands across the territory. A dynamic, fast-paced environment awaits with bonus potential and field compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail, merchandising, and/or account management.
• Experience supervising or managing other employees and a budget is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and travel as needed.
• Strong delegation and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage and direct the work of Merchandisers, including planning and scheduling.
• Use strategic selling tactics to educate home center partners on business opportunities.
• Develop retail sales/marketing plans and events.
• Recruit, interview, and hire to build the Merchandiser team and manage the budget.
• Provide product knowledge training across Scotts brands.
