ScottsMiracle-Gro in Garland, TX is seeking a Sales Manager to lead our Field Sales team. You will manage a territory, build world-class relationships with home-center retailers like The Home Depot and Lowe’s, and drive in-store presence of Scotts brands.

You’ll develop sales and marketing plans, oversee a Merchandiser team, manage budgets, recruit and coach staff, and analyze performance metrics to grow sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Retail, merchandising and/or account management experience.
• Experience supervising employees and managing a budget preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Merchandisers’ work including planning, scheduling and feedback.
• Analyze metrics to educate home center partners on opportunities.
• Develop retail sales/marketing plans and events.
• Recruit, interview and hire to build Merchandiser team within budget.
• Provide product training and merchandising guidance across Scotts brands.
• Assist retailers with in-store merchandising and POS materials.
