ScottsMiracle-Gro in Cedar Hill, TX is hiring a Sales Manager for our Field Sales team. You will manage a territory, develop key retailer relationships with Home Depot and Lowe’s, and lead a Merchandiser team to strengthen in-store presence.

You will create sales and marketing plans, manage budgets, and coach staff to deliver results. This role offers leadership growth, bonus potential, and vehicle reimbursement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year experience in retail, merchandising, and or account management.
• Preferred experience supervising/ managing other employees and a budget.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to walk, stand, climb an 8-12 foot ladder, lift up to 45 lbs and be exposed to weather elements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the work of Merchandisers including planning, scheduling and delegating work assignments with feedback.
• Utilize strategic selling tactics by analyzing metrics to educate partners on business opportunities.
• Develop retail sales/marketing plans and tools and events.
• Develop recruiting plans, interview, and hire to build out the Merchandiser team while managing budget.
• Provide job training and communicate product knowledge across Scotts brands.
• Assist retailers in proper merchandising of Scott’s product lines using POS materials to meet account needs.
