ScottsMiracle-Gro is seeking a Sales Manager to join our Field Sales team in San Antonio, TX. You will manage an assigned territory, build world-class relationships with major home center partners like The Home Depot and Lowe’s, and develop sales/marketing plans while overseeing merchandising execution.

The role includes supervising a Merchandiser team, budgeting, and using forecasting tools. A strong independent work ethic, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work holidays and weekends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year in retail, merchandising, or account management.
• Experience supervising employees and managing a budget preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage Merchandisers including planning, scheduling and delegating work with ongoing feedback.
• Utilize strategic selling to educate home center partners on business opportunities.
• Develop retail sales/marketing plans and events.
• Recruit, interview and hire to build Merchandiser team while managing budget.
• Provide product training across Scotts brands and ensure proper merchandising with POS materials.
