Job summary

ScottsMiracle-Gro in the United States (Texas) seeks a Sales Manager for its Field Sales team. You will lead Merchandisers, drive retailer partnerships with Home Depot and Lowe’s, and expand in-store presence while building and executing sales/marketing plans within your territory.

You’ll manage a team, develop forecasting, budget adherence, and provide product training across Scotts brands. Bonus eligible and vehicle reimbursement are offered as part of the opportunity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, merchandising, and/or account management preferred.
• Able to work holidays and weekends.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Experience supervising and budgeting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct Merchandisers and delegate work while providing feedback.
• Use strategic selling to educate home center partners on opportunities.
• Develop retail sales/marketing plans and events.
• Build recruiting plans, interview, and hire Merchandisers within budget.
• Provide product training and share knowledge across Scotts brands.
