Job summary

Victaulic is hiring a Territory Sales Manager in Chicago, IL, for a full-time role in Sales. You will travel to meet customers, visit job sites, and build relationships with engineers, contractors, and owners to drive product adoption and project wins.

You will master Victaulic’s grooved pipe joining methods and stay current on market trends, delivering effective presentations and coordinating with distributors to maximize territory sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous sales experience with value-added products/services—especially in commercial construction, PVF or mechanical products.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight travel.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and handle equipment weighing up to 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Learn Victaulic’s full product line and understand how our solutions help customers complete projects on time and within budget.
• Master grooved mechanical pipe joining methods and overcome objections.
• Develop a business plan with the Regional Sales Manager and execute project pursuit from inception to post-sale follow-up.
• Gather quotation information and coordinate with inside sales, engineering, and support staff to meet customer needs.
