Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Territory Sales Lead in Ames, IA. You will ensure flawless store-level sales execution, drive merchandising strategies, and manage relationships with key decision makers to achieve sales objectives.

Responsibilities include data-driven planning, route optimization, and forward selling. The role includes base salary with overtime/incentives and comprehensive benefits, located in Ames, IA.

Qualifications

• GED or HS Diploma.
• 2-year Associate/Community College degree required OR 3 years of previous sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consultative Business Partnering with customer KDMs at all levels.
• Develop and execute action plans to increase sales with KDMs.
• Leverage relationships with KDMs to influence merchandising of Hershey products.
• Obtain and analyze store, product, and market data to build the business.
• Use pre-call planning methods and company tools.
• Review routes to maximize sales efficiency for calls in territory.
• Engage in forward selling using provided data sources and processes.
• Maximize sales and displays by store walk-throughs and commitments from KDMs.
• Tailor strategies to influence KDMs to order more products.
