Job summary

John Deere is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Compact Construction Equipment in Riverside, CA to lead sales growth with dealers across the West. You will drive market share, manage key accounts and represent John Deere Construction & Forestry in the field.

The role requires extensive travel (up to 75%), strong knowledge of construction equipment, and proven ability to negotiate, develop programs, and train dealers. A Bachelor's degree and experience in sales/marketing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and marketing.
• Experience with large dealer networks.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, business or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with dealers to manage sales processes and drive sales growth.
• Act as lead within the assigned territory to implement strategic initiatives with products and solutions.
• Drive effective use of incentives and programs to accomplish sales targets.
• Arrange and execute product, application, and sales process training with dealers.
• Act as compact construction product information expert and training resource.
• Travel up to 75% mostly within the assigned territory to work with dealers and visit customers, sometimes on short notice weekends.
