Job summary

John Deere is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the Oakland, CA area to drive sales growth with our compact construction equipment line. This remote-position role requires close collaboration with dealer networks, leadership within the territory, and the ability to execute strategic initiatives across products and solutions.

You will travel up to 75% for dealer visits and customer meetings, including occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and marketing within construction or related equipment.
• Experience with large dealer networks.
• Strong field sales with a profitable territory.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with dealers to manage sales processes and drive sales growth.
• Lead within the territory to implement strategic initiatives with products and solutions.
• Drive incentives and programs to achieve sales targets.
• Arrange and conduct product, application, and sales training with dealers.
• Act as compact construction product information expert and training resource.
• Travel up to 75% within the territory to work with dealers and visit customers, weekends possible.
