Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a District Sales Executive to drive new customer revenue across a defined territory. The role emphasizes client-facing activity, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ongoing development of selling skills within a dynamic logistics environment.

The position reports to the District Sales Manager and offers growth opportunities, recognition for results, and a comprehensive benefits package. Travel to client locations is expected.

• Must meet with customers off-site on a regular basis.
• Proficiency in English (oral and written).
• Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable with regular data entry on a laptop.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory and know potential customers and competitors.
• Timely data entry in our CRM tool.
• Coordinate customer/branch relationships with regional resources.
• Develop value-added logistics solutions and cost-benefit analyses.
• Support the onboarding of new accounts and gather required paperwork; assist AR collection if needed.
• Attend training sessions to develop selling skills and product knowledge.
• Engage in local trade groups as directed by the District Sales Manager.
• Take on additional assignments to support company needs.
