Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative in Napa, CA to drive territory growth and secure new business through prospecting, appointments, and strategic sales activities. You will coordinate with operations to ensure timely service delivery and meet client timelines.

The role requires 3–5 years of sales experience, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to travel 30%+. Salesforce.com experience and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience, education and training
• 3–5 years sales experience in hunting capacity
• Strong business acumen with background in sales, relationship development and/or customer experience
• Experience analyzing financials in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel 30%+
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.com

Responsibilities

• Develop territory growth plan and provide updates vs. plan via CRM
• Secure prospective client appointments through prospecting, drop-offs, cold calling and other strategies
• Prepare for appointments with client research and tailored sales materials
• Meet with prospective clients to secure business and follow up to close sales
• Coordinate with operations to meet service timelines and deliverables
• Attend company meetings and events as needed
