Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales or agronomy
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel throughout territory and to sales meetings
• Knowledge of herbicides and fertilizers (dry and liquid)
• Developing working knowledge of local crops and market practices
• Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office
• Agronomy/Agribusiness degree

Responsibilities

• Manage existing and attract new customers within sales territory.
• Assist customers with proper product selection and use based on agronomic needs.
• Maintain and develop profitable customer relationships.
• Identify new key customers and support team to achieve sales goals.
• Assist with territory budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Follow credit policies and manage risks for the company.
• Coordinate annual business plan to optimize growth and profitability.
• Implement marketing and sales plans; meet sales goals and network with industry reps.
• Be primary contact regarding deliveries, forecasting, credit, complaints, and custom applications.
