Job summary

Hawthorne Cat is seeking a results-driven professional to influence sales of parts and service for Caterpillar earthmoving equipment across the territory. You will build strong customer relationships, inform clients about ongoing services and campaigns, and partner with customers to identify improvements and implement solutions.

Ideal candidates have experience in product support or related industries, strong communication skills, and a proactive, organized approach to achieving growth targets.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop assigned accounts and provide parts and service to meet customer needs.
• Develop business opportunities for all assigned accounts, provide quotes and close sales.
• Forecast growth potential by understanding customer and territory.
• Market Hawthorne’s parts and service capabilities to customers and campaigns.
• Create business plans for assigned territory or customers.
• Make routine sales calls and provide timely proposals for parts and service.
• Assist customers in selecting programs to maximize lifecycle of equipment.
• Maintain customer contact information and sales activity records.
