Hawthorne Cat in San Diego seeks a driven sales support professional to influence parts and service sales for Caterpillar engines and generators. You will build relationships, present Hawthorne’s capabilities, and drive business in your territory.

You will develop accounts, provide quotes, and coordinate between customers and departments to ensure maximum equipment life and customer satisfaction. A strong service mindset and proactive planning are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in a product support sales and service environment.
• Clear, written and oral communication skills.
• Positive attitude, self-starter, organized and a good planner.
• Ability to set and meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop assigned accounts and provide parts and service.
• Develop e-commerce and other opportunities and close sales.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers at all levels.
• Coordinate between customers and departments to provide service.
• Maintain sales call reports and weekly call planners.
