Qualifications

• Preferred minimum of five years in a product support environment or related industry with experience in customer service.
• Must be able to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must have a positive attitude and be a self-starter.
• Must be organized and a good planner.
• Ability to set and meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop assigned accounts and provide parts and service to meet customer needs.
• Develop business opportunities for all assigned accounts, provide quotes and close sales.
• Forecast growth potential by understanding customers and territory.
• Market Hawthorne's parts and service capabilities to position Hawthorne as the Product Support choice.
• Create a business plan for the assigned territory or customers.
• Make routine sales calls and provide timely proposals for parts and service.
• Assist customers in selecting programs to maximize equipment life cycle.
• Gather competitive intelligence on activities in the territory.
• Coordinate between customers and departments to deliver best service.
• Maintain customer contact information and weekly call plans.
• Aim to meet annual growth targets for the territory.
