Ideal candidates have five years in a product support environment, strong communication, and the ability to forecast growth and meet annual targets.

Qualifications

• Preferred minimum of five years in a product support environment or related industry with experience in customer service.
• Must have ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must have a positive attitude and be a self-starter.
• Must be organized and a good planner.
• Ability to set and meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop assigned accounts and provide parts and service to meet customer needs.
• Develop business opportunities for all assigned accounts, provide quotes and close sales.
• Extensive knowledge of customer’s territory to forecast growth potential and identify needs.
• Introduce Hawthorne’s parts and service capabilities to customers and communicate campaigns.
• Devise, forecast and create a business plan for territory or customers.
• Make routine sales calls and provide timely proposals for parts and service.
• Assist customers in selection of programs to maximize life cycle of equipment.
• Build competitive intelligence and analyze market activity.
• Coordinate between customers and departments to provide best possible service.
