Job summary

Syneos Health in Oak Lawn, IL is seeking a field sales professional to lead an assigned territory, applying marketing plans and clinical judgment to drive growth.

You will build relationships with health care providers, deliver educational support to physicians and staff, manage budgets, and travel locally and nationally as needed. A bachelor's degree and 2–5 years B2B and 1–2 years pharma sales are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2-5 years of business-to-business (B2B) experience.
• 1-2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Pharmaceutical pain management experience strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of success in exceeding results.
• Demonstrated sales acumen.
• Ability to travel and maintain a valid driver's license for visits to assigned healthcare accounts.
• Residence within the assigned territory or its boundaries required.

Responsibilities

• Leverage audience-specific marketing and sales materials.
• Identify and develop business relationships with targeted Health Care providers.
• Plan and prioritize activities to ensure consistent territory coverage aligned to client needs.
• Deliver educational and scientific support to inform decisions by physicians, practitioners, and nursing staff.
• Identify key influencers and achieve designated customer interaction expectations with a focus on top target customers.
• Develop and implement plans for territory to meet market share goals.
• Communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Present a professional sales image in all business matters.
• Manage and maintain expense and promotional budgets for the territory within guidelines.
• Must operate within Compliance Guidelines at all times.
• Adherence to Policies, Process and Procedures.
