Job summary

QXO is the leading distributor of insulation and building materials in North America. We are seeking an ambitious Outside Sales Associate to grow our fast‑moving business, manage your own territory, and earn uncapped commissions.

The successful candidate will build relationships, prospect accounts, and present solutions with strong negotiation and communication skills. Expect significant travel (up to 75%) to cover a broad territory across the region.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• 3–5 years of successful outside sales experience.
• General Contractor and Building industry knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial insulation, building envelope, or building science is a plus.
• Understanding of construction drawings is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and prospects in your territory.
• Independently manage existing customers and prospecting activity in your territory.
• Deliver effective presentations, negotiate, and communicate clearly (verbal/written).
• Process dealer orders and system generated acknowledgements with proficiency.
• Travel up to 75% within a 250-mile territory to cover assigned accounts.
