Job summary

QXO, North America’s largest distributor and installer of insulation and building materials, is seeking an Outside Sales Associate to grow our insulation and building products distribution division. You will manage your own territory, build relationships, and drive sales with uncapped earnings.

The role emphasizes presentations, negotiations, and customer service; requires 3-5 years outside sales, valid driver's license, and knowledge of construction drawings; travel up to 75% within a 250-mile

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• 3-5 years of successful outside sales experience.
• General Contractor and Building industry knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial insulation, building envelope, or building science is a plus.
• Comprehension of construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Ability to build strong relationships.
• Independently manage existing customers and prospecting activity in your territory.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills; both verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills to process and review dealer orders, requests and system generated acknowledgements.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
