Job summary

Emser Tile seeks an Outside Sales Representative to call on existing and new clients, including builders, designers, and contractors, driving sales and expanding the territory.

The role requires independent work, strong product knowledge, and proactive prospecting to meet and exceed sales goals across the assigned region in the United States. Travel will be involved to service accounts and develop new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience, preferably in flooring/building materials.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish relationships with new and existing clientele
• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers
• Work independently while aligning with company sales strategies
• Process orders and credits promptly to provide exceptional service
• Build long-lasting client relationships by understanding needs and offering solutions
• Promote products and set up client displays and samples
• Develop product knowledge to answer questions and close opportunities
• Monitor market trends and report on market movement and penetration
• Attend trade and industry events to increase client knowledge of Emser
