Job summary

Emser is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive sales across a defined Illinois territory. You will call on builders, designers, GCs, and other decision makers, promoting Emser products and growing both new and existing accounts.

You will travel within the territory, work independently yet align with company sales strategies, and deliver exceptional service by processing orders and credits promptly. A strong background in outside sales and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside sales, preferably in flooring/building materials.
• Strong analytical ability to identify client needs and opportunities.
• Proven negotiation and collaborative selling techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Identify and establish relationships with new and existing clientele.
• Travel throughout territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
• Process orders and credits with prompt, accurate service.
• Build long-lasting client relationships by understanding client needs.
• Promote new products during calls and onsite visits.
• Attend trade and industry events to expand product knowledge.
• Develop expertise on Emser products to provide value.
• Provide market feedback and reports on market movement.
