Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Plymouth, MN to act as the primary voice for our equipment and services. You will build relationships, qualify new accounts, and maximize revenue across construction sites within a defined territory.

You will use Salesforce.com and other CRM tools to develop a robust pipeline, collaborate with division teams, and present solutions to clients. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 3 years of sales experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Three years of sales experience.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills are necessary.
• Strong planning, problem-solving and negotiation abilities preferred.
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maximize revenue from facilities and construction sites in a defined geographical territory.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers and their subsidiary companies.
• Prospect and qualify new accounts from existing, dormant, or non-customer accounts, including competitor accounts.
• Collaborate with specialty division representatives to promote cross selling.
• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Develop and present company products and services to clients.
• Utilize CRM tools to develop pipeline of opportunities.
• Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development.
