Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to be the voice and initial contact for our business. You will use consultative sales skills to understand customer needs and convert them into loyal customers.

You will build relationships, promote equipment and services, and drive growth across a defined geographic territory. Expect a base salary plus monthly commissions, with a minimum onboarding incentive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Three years of sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maximize revenue from facilities and construction sites in a defined geographic territory.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers and their subsidiary companies.
• Prospect and qualify new accounts from existing accounts, dormant or non-customer accounts.
• Collaborate with specialty division representatives to promote cross selling.
• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Develop and present company products and services to clients.
• Utilize CRM tools to develop pipeline of opportunities.
• Monitor competitors and market conditions.
