Job summary

Eastern Metal Supply, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to own and grow an assigned territory in the West Tennessee region.

You will guide the inside sales team, manage customers, and partner with the Area Sales manager to meet company sales and profit goals. You will travel to customer locations, attend trade shows, and develop strong relationships with key customers while driving territory expansion and market share.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet safety standards.
• Prior outside sales experience is required.
• Strong business acumen and customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to organize, plan and prioritize duties with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Directs sales activity by leading Inside sales team and communicating customer needs.
• Facilitates sales planning and execution to support Territory growth.
• Analyze sales trends and market conditions to drive planning.
• Collaborates with R&D to roadmap future products or markets.
• Engages customers through visits, on-site meetings and trade shows.
• Develops product knowledge and sales training to improve performance.
• Leads commercial discussions to resolve customer concerns.
• Builds relationships with Top Tier customers and grows territory.
• Navigate Territory strategically using company tools; primary duty is to make sales and secure orders.
