Job summary

IES is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop new business and maintain strong customer relationships across Northeast Ohio and surrounding territories from its Massillon, OH operations. The role focuses on promoting electric motor repair, predictive maintenance, field services, machining, and industrial repair solutions to manufacturing, utilities, and commercial customers.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with 3+ years of outside sales experience in industrial, manufacturing, electrical, or service-related environment.
• Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to build relationships with customers.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly in Northeast Ohio and surrounding territories.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities and experience using CRM software.
• Knowledge of electric motors, drives, and related maintenance services is a plus.
• Experience with proposals, quotations, and service agreements is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business and expand accounts.
• Identify opportunities within plants, utilities, OEMs, municipalities, and industrial facilities.
• Promote electric motor repair, predictive maintenance, field services, and machining capabilities.
• Conduct customer visits, plant tours, and presentations; prepare proposals and service agreements.
• Collaborate with operations and technical teams to meet customer expectations.
