Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive growth for our spirits brands across a designated territory. You will connect with vibrant on-premise locations, partners, and distributors to reach volume and distribution goals while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will use data analytics to identify trends, craft growth strategies, and execute programs that boost brand visibility and shelf share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of field sales in alcohol/CPG; internships ok.
• Proven volume achievements in distribution and promos.
• Experience using sales data analytics tools.
• Must have driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Live in or near the territory.
• Able to cover business expenses.
• Must obtain solicitor’s permit in any state.

Responsibilities

• Craft solutions to grow assigned accounts and boost brand share.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Drive volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Implement programs that support distribution, merchandising and promotions.
• Build rapport with customers by understanding needs and requirements.
• Coordinate communication between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• Track KPIs to ensure targets are met across the territory.
