Job summary

Sazerac Company is recruiting a Market Development Representative to join our sales team. You will partner with on-premise and off-premise accounts to drive volume and distribution for our diverse spirits brands across the territory.

You will craft growth strategies, lead distributors, and execute programs to boost brand presence while maintaining strong customer relationships and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries.
• Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail promotional goals.
• Demonstrated use of sales data analytics and tools to drive sales results.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within an assigned territory.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Live in or near the territory and able to cover ordinary business expenses.

Responsibilities

• Craft growth solutions for assigned accounts to boost brand share.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Drive volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Execute strategic programs delivering distribution, merchandising, and promotions.
• Build rapport with customers by understanding needs and requirements.
• Communicate between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure goals are met.
