Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive growth across our spirits brands within a defined territory. You will partner with grocery, c-store, and liquor accounts, leading efforts to expand market share and distribution.

Responsibilities include crafting growth solutions, guiding distributors on in-store selling, and aligning with internal teams to meet KPI targets. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required, with a base salary in the advertised range.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries; recent grads with internships or sales experience qualify.
• Results Driven: Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail promotional goals.
• Technical Savvy: Demonstrated use of sales data analytics to drive results and identify market trends.
• Mobility: Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory.
• Schedule: Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Location: Live in or near the territory.
• Expenses: Ability to cover business expenses that are reimbursed promptly.
• Compliance: Must obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state.

Responsibilities

• Craft growth solutions to boost business for assigned accounts and grow market share.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Drive volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Implement programs addressing distribution, merchandising, display, and promotions.
• Build mutually valuable rapport with customers through understanding needs.
• Serve as communication lead between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
