Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Market Development Representative to expand distribution and sales for our diverse spirits portfolio across assigned accounts. You’ll partner with grocery, convenience, and liquor stores to drive volume and share, while leading in-store execution and promotional programs.

The role emphasizes building relationships with customers, leveraging trends, and collaborating with wholesalers and the internal team to meet KPI targets and growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries.
• New college graduates should have sales/marketing internship or full/part-time sales role experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel within an assigned territory.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Craft and implement solutions to grow business for assigned accounts and increase market share for Sazerac brands.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Drive volume objectives and execute strategic programs for distribution, merchandising, and retail promotions.
• Develop rapport with customers by understanding their needs and requirements and coordinate with wholesalers and internal teams.
