Job summary

Sazerac Company is hiring a Market Development Representative to partner with off-premise locations, achieving volume and distribution goals across our spirits portfolio. You will connect with grocery, liquor, and convenience stores to boost brand presence and sales in your territory.

The role requires 1 year of field sales experience in alcohol/CPG, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries.
• Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail promotional goals.
• Demonstrated use of sales data analytics and tools to drive results.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within an assigned territory.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Live in or near the territory.
• Ability to personally cover ordinary business expenses until reimbursement.
• Must obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state.

Responsibilities

• Craft solutions for growth by implementing and managing initiatives to boost sales for assigned accounts.
• Build brands by leveraging consumer trends and educating customers to increase market share.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Help achieve volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Implement and execute programs focused on distribution, merchandising, display, and retail promotions.
• Develop rapport with customers by understanding needs and requirements.
• Coordinate communication between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure targets are met.
