Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive growth with grocery, convenience, and liquor stores within a defined territory. You will connect consumers with our brands and lead efforts to boost market share through strategic programs, distributor collaboration, and outstanding account management.

The role requires field sales experience in alcohol/CPG, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work non-traditional hours while living in or near the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries; interns/graduates OK.
• Results-driven with ability to deliver on distribution and retail promo goals.
• Demonstrated use of sales data analytics to drive results.
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to travel within territory.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Craft growth solutions for assigned accounts to boost market share.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Drive volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Implement strategic programs for distribution, merchandising, and promos.
• Build mutually valuable rapport with customers and understand needs.
• Coordinate communication between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure goals are met.
